The Venue
Nestled in Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley, Bisou Bisou brings the charm of an intimate French bistro to life, offering exceptional dining experiences for every meal of the day. From artisan pastries and freshly brewed coffee at breakfast to La Rôtisserie’s perfectly roasted proteins and a curated wine list for lunch and dinner, Bisou Bisou combines traditional French techniques with locally sourced ingredients to delight guests at every visit.


The Role
We are seeking a skilled Events Supervisor to join the team at Bisou Bisou. This dynamic role offers variety as you’ll oversee service for a diverse clientele, including hotel guests, locals, residents, and conference attendees from the events space directly above the restaurant. Every day is different, with the opportunity to engage in all services and event operations, ensuring an exceptional experience for all.

Please note: You should have a minimum up to 1 year previous experience in the above or similar roles.


REQUIREMENTS

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and delegate duties to Front of House staff to maintain seamless operations.
  • Oversee the running of various events as well as breakfast, lunch & dinner service, ensuring service standards and guest satisfaction.
  • Monitor quality, portion sizes, and presentation of meals, beverages, and service sequence.
  • Ensure opening and closing procedures are completed, maintaining cleanliness and equipment.
  • Handle cash-ups and manage POS inventory and par levels for front-of-house items.
  • Resolve escalated customer concerns with professionalism and care.
  • Assist with recruitment, training, and mentoring of junior staff.
  • Uphold health, safety, and sanitation standards, including RSA compliance.


What We’re Looking For

  • At least 2 years of supervisory experience in hospitality or a similar environment.
  • Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures.
  • A positive attitude with excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Proven ability to lead, train, and motivate a team effectively.
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality service and creating memorable guest experiences.
  • Strong barista skills & bar experience
